Beautiful gareden and lovely cat

隔離生活ですが、窓から美しい庭が見えるのが救いです。

出身の奄美大島と似ている花々ですが、

やはりちょっと違う種類のようで、見たことないお花や緑もあります。

 

毎日猫たちがくつろぎにきます。

東ティモールの猫は日本の猫よりシュッとしていて、美形な猫が多い印象です。

 

私は実家でも猫を飼っていて、大の猫好きなのですが、

出れない、触れないのがつらいです。

見ているだけ。。

猫たちは「餌くれ！」と激しく鳴いていますが

ここは我慢。

 

諦めて大人しくくつろぎだすと、

愛くるしい姿です。

美しい庭と

美人な猫を見る。

癒しの時間です。

 

 

Although I’m living in isolation, the beautiful garden visible from my window is a source of comfort.

 

The flowers resemble those from my hometown, Amami Ōshima,
but they seem to be slightly different species.

There are flowers and greenery I’ve never seen before.

 

Every day, cats come to relax here.

Cats in East Timor appear slimmer and more refined than those in Japan, and they seem more elegant overall.

I have cats at my family home too, and I’m a huge cat lover,
so not being able to go out or touch them is really tough.

 

All I can do is watch...

The cats meow loudly as if to say, “Give us food!”
But I have to resist.

 

Once they give up and settle down,

they look absolutely adorable.

 

Looking at the beautiful garden
and the beautiful cats—
it’s my moment of healing.
